Our Legacy...

My grandmother Barbara J. Tolbert painted for over 30+ years. She was the original owner and operator of SweetFace Face painting. Her art was the highlight of many holidays and family gatherings throughout my childhood. My cousins and I often tagged along with her to her jobs. Where she carefully balanced crowds of customers, large to small and young to old. Her ability to brighten up a room was a true sight to behold. Everyone knew she wholeheartedly loved and enjoyed her work. She had always wanted her business to live on after her passing. Little did we know that day would come so unexpectedly soon. It is with great sadness that we let everyone know that Barbara J. Tolbert, has passed away. We take comfort in knowing that after her many years of bringing smiles to millions, she is now smiling down from heaven. I now paint on in her legacy, in hopes of making sweet faces even sweeter.
